Not quite spring, but who’s counting? The pub’s still serving the good stuff, and with our Spring Menu landing on Wednesday 18th March, there’s plenty to look forward to.
We’re firm believers that a good plate of food, cooked by proper chefs using the best quality ingredients, makes a trip to the pub worthwhile.
Start with our Devon Crab Cake & Emerald Spinach Sauce, followed by our Free-range Treacle-glazed Pork Hock with Creamed Leeks & Kale. If you’re looking for something punchy, our Harissa Cauliflower with Buckwheat, Chickpeas & Preserved Lemon is a must-try.
Don’t forget to save room for pud, our Pecan Tart with Orange, Crème Fraîche & Brandy Snap has your name all over it.
Embrace the slower months with an age-old favourite… Sundays gathered round the table, drink in hand, and a top-notch roast to match.
Think grass-fed beef from Aubrey Allen, Jimmy Butler’s free-range pork, or our Vegetarian Wellington – all with crisp, golden roasties and next-level Yorkshire Puds (don’t be shy, we’ll be round to top you up).
Settle in from noon and enjoy our Mother’s Day Set Menu, served right through until evening.
